NewPro HY Steel ETCH Primer

DESCRIPTION:

NewPro HY Steel ETCH Primer is a single pack primer giving excellent adhesion to aluminium and other metal prior to subsequent paint systems.

ADVANTAGES:

Provides first class adhesion to properly prepared surfaces.

USES:

First coat of the NewPro HY Steel System.

COLOUR RANGE:

Available in Grey and Red Oxide.

PACK SIZE:

Single component product, supplied in 5 litre units.

12 m² / Litre

VOLUME SOLIDS:

55%

DRYING TIME:

Touch: 2-3 Hours
Overcoat: 4 Hours

PREPARATION:

Ensure surfaces to be treated are clean, free from contamination and dry. Previously coated surfaces should be abraded

APPLICATION:

Airless spray. May be applied by brush/roller on small section steel. Should not be applied at temperatures below 5ºC or when the relative humidity exceeds 85%.

EQUIPMENT CARE:

All equipment should be cleaned with T3 Thinners

STORAGE:

Store away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Protect from frost.

SHELF LIFE:

12 months (in original sealed container).
