Nano Coating NewPro Nano BPS NA 307

For absorbent substrates such as concrete, lime-sandstone, brick, mineral plaster, paper, unglazed tiles, absorbent wood and refractory bricks.

Product Description:

NewPro Nano-BPS NA 307 is a watery inorganic-organic coating material based on chemical Nano technology. Self-organising anti-adhering components give the surface an invisible coating with hydrophobic and oleophobic properties which protect from watery and oily soiling.

Suitable Substrates:

Suitable for absorbent substrates such as bricks, lime-sandstone, concrete, refractory bricks, unglazed tiles, mineral plaster and absorbent wood and paper.

Properties

  • Usable on many absorbent surfaces
  • Watery
  • Hydrophobic
  • Oleophobic
  • Optically neutral
  • Water vapour permeable
  • Colourless

Density: approx. 1, 0 kg/ltr.
pH-Value: approx. 4,5 - 6,5

Preparation:

Fundamentally all surfaces to be coated have to be viable, dry and free from dust, sludge, loose components, harmful construction salts and other impurities, for example by cleaning with a steam-jet cleaner. NewPro Nano-BPS 307 is to be stirred before use.

Application Method:

NewPro Nano-BPS 307 is applied to the appropriate substrate with a brush or roller until the
saturation point is reached and should be at least 100 ml/m² in one working step. The saturation point is reached when a thin layer of the impregnation liquid remains on the surface. An application is also possible in an airless process. Pressure approx. 2 – 4 bar  (30 - 60 psi), Jet approx. 2 mm, spray angle 40 to 80°. We recommend in any case the carrying out of a test of a surface area.

Consumption:

Between 100 and 400 ml/m², according to the absorbency of the substrate. Guidance values from experience: concrete approx. 150 ml/m², mineral plaster approx. 200 ml/m², strongly absorbent sandstone 250 ml/m².

Storage:

24 months in tightly closed containers. Protect from frost.

Processing Conditions:

Between +5°C and +30°C. The temperature of the particular substrate must be at least 3°C above the dew point temperature present.

Drying:

At +10°C: min. 6 hours, max. 30 hours
At +20°C: min. 4 hours, max. 24 hours
At +30°C: min. 3 hours, max. 24 hours

Equipment Cleaning:

The equipment has to be cleaned with water after each process interruption.
