Product Description
Graffiti Magic-Sealer/Primer is a clear water-based primer. It is used as priming coat on open porous surfaces prior to the application of Graffiti Magic (matt) or Poster Magic (gloss) to prevent the possibility of drying out/desiccation or darkening of the base surface.
Suitable Surfaces/Undergrounds
NewPro Graffiti Magic-Sealer/Primer was designed for use on a wide range of open porous surfaces. It is a clear, water based primer sealer, for use on porous substrates prior to the application of NewPro Graffiti Magic matt and NewPro Poster Magic gloss finish. Where application of NewPro Graffiti Magic matt / NewPro Poster Magic gloss directly onto the substrate may result in the "wetting out" or darkening of the surface. Use of the Non-Darkening Sealer helps to prevent, or minimize, any such change in the appearance of the coated surface. The Sealer can also be used to seal very porous substrates to improve the spread rate of NewPro Graffiti Magic matt or Poster Magic gloss. NewPro Graffiti Magic matt and NewPro Poster Magic gloss Primer was specially developed for the use on the following surfaces:
- Building stone or brick
- Concrete
- Mortar
- Open porous stone
- Plaster
- Untreated wood

Procedural Instructions
Surface Preparation: All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease or grime. Thoroughly remove all grime, dust deposits, efflorescence and moss or vegetation through washing, careful steaming, or hydraulic blasting. Remove any parts which are loose able to be damaged or not able to handle a lot of pressure.
Processing: Apply a thick coating evenly to the surface with a paintbrush, roll brush or an airless spraying device with the same consistency or thickness. When spraying, avoid contact to adjacent surfaces, which can cause unwanted damage to surrounding objects. Prior to application, ensure that bricks are free from acids or other corrosive cleaners. The recommended coating thickness should lie between 150 ml and 200 ml per 1 m²
Machine/Mechanical Application: Graffiti Magic-Sealer/Primer can be applied with an airless device.
Notice: Graffiti Magic-Sealer/Primer is not mixable. The product characteristics are negatively influenced when mixed with water as well as chemicals and other foreign substances. The possible uses or applications of Graffiti Magic-Sealer/Primer are versatile. In order to check the suitability of the surface, we recommend that you carry out your own test to determine the durability and stability of Graffiti Magic-Sealer/Primer.
Use:
- Approximately 150 ml to 200 ml per 1 m².
This is simply a recommended standard, which in end effect depends on the layer of thickness as well as the absorbency of the surface area structure of the surface. An exact amount of material needed can only be determined by a sample coating on the surface of the object.
Required Conditions for Use/Application
The application can be carried out with a surface area and air temperature between min. + 5° Celsius and max. + 30° Celsius. Graffiti Magic Sealer/Primer is not to be applied when temperatures exceed + 25° Celsius under direct sunlight. Protect the surface against rain during periods of drying.
Drying Times:
- At approximate temperatures of 20°C and 80 % humidity
- Dry to touch approximately 4 hours
- Completely dry approximately 12 hours
Notice: Graffiti Magic Sealer/Primer must be completely dry before the application of Graffiti Magic (matt) or Poster Magic (gloss).
Cleaning of Tools:
- Immediately after use, wash out with water. If necessary, use solvents, thinner, or cleaning solutions.

Storage:
- Cool, frost-free, in original closed package with a shelf life of approximately 1 year.
Work Hygiene
Before breaks and at the end working with the product, wash hands thoroughly. Do not eat, drink or smoke during use. Avoid eye and skin contact with the product. If necessary, wear protective clothing.

Protective Measures
Keep away from children. Keep containers sealed tightly closed. In the event of eye contact, immediately flush eyes out with water. In the event of skin contact, wash skin thoroughly with water and soap. Do not smoke during application and use. If swallowed seek immediate medical advice and show the packaging or product label to the treating physician.
